I'm an emigrant from Hungary, who as a young bride came to the US over 50 years ago to raise her children in freedom and peace. My story can be read in my family web site which I had put together for my children and grandchildren to document some of our family background and history.
I've started this Blog as an extension of, to comment and reflect on, also, to keep up with my everyday life after the end of my story in the web site.
I'm featuring the link on the left-hand margin of my Blog.
Celebrating with the beautiful paintings of two great Italian Renaissance artists:
Tintoretto (Jacopo Comin, 1518-1594)
Sanzio Raffaello (1483-1520)

Dear Jutka, I am delighted to have found your website and then to discover your Easter posting of such wonderful paintings. Tintoretto is, for me, one of the all time great painters and one whose work I fell in love with many years ago in Venice.
Looking at earlier postings I see that you still have Hungarian receipts. I do so love Hungarian food!
Thank you so much for leaving a comment on my recent posting to which I have replied. I have also added myself as one of your 'Followers' in the hope that we may keep in touch.
