We shall meet again...

The English translation of Solveig's Song:

The winter may pass and the spring disappear, the spring disappear;
The summer too will vanish and then the year, and then the year.
But this I know for certain: you'll come back again, you'll come back again.
And even as I promised you'll find me waiting then, you'll find me waiting then.

God help you when wand'ring your way all alone, your way all alone.
God grant to you his strength as you'll kneel at his throne, as you'll kneel at his throne.
If you are in heaven now waiting for me, in heaven for me.
And we shall meet again love and never parted be, and never parted be!

Thank you for visiting my blog and posting a comment. I'm sorry to hear that your dear husband had Alzheimer's. It's a dreadful disease. Take care my new friend.

I happened upon your site while searching Hungary on Google. You have led a very interesting life. It is very brave of you to post it on the internet. My great-grandparents on my father's side are from Budapest. While I did not have the chance to know them, I have always been interested in my ancestry. I had the opportunity to visit Budapest while studying abroad in 2005. It is one of my favorite places I visited in Europe. I found the people to be exceptionally nice and welcoming to Americans which with our current politics was not a common occurrence. I think it takes a very strong person to accomplish all that you have. I wish you luck in everything.
